Laughing Squid collected a few classic Jim Henson videos on Visual Thinking that are well worth checking out. The pre-Muppet Show Kermit material is amazing stuff — it’s hard to believe this could ever be prime time network television fare!

It’s always interesting to see the muppets roots, although it does make me feel a little old. It’s neat to see how characters grew and developed into the muppets we now know and love.
This reminds me of when I found a picture of a young Jim Henson without his beard, and it totally blew me away. It was quite possibly one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen.
