Go BOOM! *giggle while eying a detonator*It’s more likely the castle.
But I looked up the word at the top of the article. This is what I found.
“The word schism (IPA: /ˈsɪzəm/ or /ˈskɪzəm/), from the Greek σχίσμα, skhísma (from σχίζω, skhízō, “to tear, to split”), means a division or a split, usually in an organization or a movement.”
The goblin with the moustache reminds me of the goblin that controlled the goblin-like robot in the movie. (except for the missing, torn apart wings…). Anyone else notice?
Why would she blast it? She wants to obtain the Labyrinth from Toby. Maybe this is where the “dark abyss” mentioned in the prophecy in Vol. 2 comes in?
I suspect the blast happens because of Mizumi gaining control over the Pathmaker. Remember, she resents The Labyrinth. Jareth built it to keep even her out. She wants his kingdom, she probably despises the maze.
LOL. To me this looks like neither a “schism” nor an explosion, but more like a sinkhole — which come to think of it, is caused by underground WATER … Methinks it’s the doing of the Moraine gang.
Hey, I know this is unrelated to the article, but for everyone here who owns “Goblins of the Labyrinth”, who is the girl on the front cover and in certain portraits within the book? Is it Sarah?
*takes another peek at pic*
You know (chuckles), maybe it is NOT Mizumi or someone from Moraine who made that big mess … I seem to recall Ludo being a mover-n-shaker as well ;P

Huh?! That makes no sense! But yet it intrigues me….
26. September 2008 at 8:15 am :
Wow… I don’t really know what to say… I’m intrigued… is the Labyrinth blowing up?
I don’t suppose you could post another pic?
26. September 2008 at 9:09 am :
I was just thinking the same thing. Labyrinth going boom…

Sound ominous.
26. September 2008 at 9:18 am :
Well, let’s take a look at the hidden spoiler Jake slipped us from the last seemingly unrelated thread.
‘Following the events of Return to Labyrinth volume 3, Teenage Toby finds himself in his darkest hour. Just when he’s about to give up hope’
Not good for Toby or Labyrinthians, I’m certain.

Did you try clicking on pic?
26. September 2008 at 11:08 am :
Hahahahahaha…ha? I feel so stupid.
26. September 2008 at 11:32 am :
“Did you try clicking on pic?”
Oops… Don’t I feel stupid?
26. September 2008 at 11:33 am :
Holy crap! It’s like collapsing into itself!
26. September 2008 at 11:57 am :
Oh My Gods!! Who broke the Labyrinth? When I find out, I will KILL them
p.s. Thanks for the tip on clicking on the pic, saved me a lot of trouble; more pics!!
26. September 2008 at 12:25 pm :
It looks like Drumlin’s work.
26. September 2008 at 12:30 pm :
You know I actually posted my ‘Labyrinth go boom’ post before clicking it so I was right.
Go me.
26. September 2008 at 12:34 pm :
You know, one of those goblins looks like Murky from Rainbow Brite.
26. September 2008 at 12:35 pm :
Off hand comment: I say ‘you know’ too much. I really need to stop that.
26. September 2008 at 6:55 pm :
The plot thickens! I wonder what Jareth will have to say when he sees the trouble that’s brewing…
26. September 2008 at 7:53 pm :
I get a feeling he’ll know and or feel it the moment this goes down.

Woops. Don’t pay attention to that link. I misspelled it. ^_^
28. September 2008 at 2:58 pm :
Oooh.
Does Mizumi blast the Labyrinth onto another plane of living? Or is it impossible to re-access again?
28. September 2008 at 3:20 pm :
Why would she blast it? She wants to obtain the Labyrinth from Toby. Maybe this is where the “dark abyss” mentioned in the prophecy in Vol. 2 comes in?
29. September 2008 at 4:13 pm :
I don’t mean destroy it, but have it not accessible to others.
29. September 2008 at 5:40 pm :
Ahhh…. I see your point. Keeping trouble- makers out. Darn that Mizumi is good. I bet Jareth is evening more cunning though. *Swoon*
^_^
30. September 2008 at 6:52 am :
That looks… ungood. I love the puzzled expressions on their faces.
30. September 2008 at 8:41 am :
I’d be willing to say that maybe someone found the pathmaker ? Or soething else ? Either way, it’s gonna be messy.
30. September 2008 at 6:08 pm :
Maybe because Toby might not find the pathmaker, the Labyrinth will fall apart at the seams…
2. October 2008 at 9:59 am :
‘That looks… ungood’
Thank you, George Orwell…

Wow, Drumlin really hulked out, didn’t she?

I always wondered that, too. No idea.
30. October 2008 at 6:19 pm :
Huh … well, they could always hide out in Fraggle Rock … I mean, Travelling Matt WAS at that ball…
