Return to Labyrinth/ Warhammer Online Crossover?
So for the past week I’ve been dabbling with the new MMO Warhammer Online (very polished and fun, I must sa–especially the Public Quests). When I finally got my Magus Moppet to the Inevitable City, who should I find hanging out in the Apex but lovable Skub! He seems to have undergone a bit of a face lift, though, and I was disappointed that not only is he sided with the forces of Destruction, but he’s a gambler! For shame, Skub. For shame!

HAHA!
27. September 2008 at 2:22 am :
Wow…that’s awesome!!!!
27. September 2008 at 7:43 pm :
Magus Moppet…? As in Moppet from the books? I want to see that next if possible!
And Skub! Naughty boy, what would Toby say? …what would he say?
27. September 2008 at 8:09 pm :
Maybe Skub got fired from the kitchen and decided to side with the evil forces in retaliation?
Skub should learn to cook more than just Mac and Cheese, I don’t think Toby’s can handle Kraft Dinner every night.
28. September 2008 at 1:02 pm :
Whenever I play MMOs, I tend to name my characters after RtL characters: Candlewic (Tauren Hunter), Spittledrum (Draenai Shaman), Moppet (Forsaken Priest), Moulin (Human Paladin). Haven’t played WoW for a while though, so Moppet mk 2 is the first in a long time.
28. September 2008 at 5:13 pm :
Maybe that was Skub dealing with the pain of the loss of his mother. She did get eaten after all…
29. September 2008 at 5:03 am :
Nooooooo!!! Skub! Don’t turn to the Dark Side! There is still good in you!
2. October 2008 at 1:44 pm :
NOOO!! I just checked several webpages and it says the third volume of Return to Labyrinth is not coming out until DECEMBER!! I cannot wait that long, I though it was going to be October or November, no fair!!
2. October 2008 at 2:47 pm :
Are you serious? They expect us to wait another month!? That is cruel and unusual punishment by my book. Clearly unconstitutional!
2. October 2008 at 5:34 pm :
Uhhhh…They’ve been saying it would be December since July, guys. (I know because that’s when I pre-ordered :))
2. October 2008 at 6:16 pm :
ugh. i thought it was november for a while, too guys. you’ll get over it. eventually. it may take you a while…but he posted it on the site a while ago, Crystal.–what reason do you have to doubt the author? I mean, he should know, right?
2. October 2008 at 11:06 pm :
Originally we were told October. Then Amazon said November. Then they bumped it to December but it’s been at December for a few months now unfortunately. So much for gettin Volume 3 out faster than volume 2…
4. October 2008 at 12:30 pm :
Ack! Must build… Time…Machine… Can’t wait…Much longer! *breaks down and cries*
4. October 2008 at 4:41 pm :
*pats gobblinize me on the back* there, there.
5. October 2008 at 5:59 am :
Dang it, these instructions make no sense. Okay, time machine idea is out. *throws pieces of time machine into trash can*
Back to waiting impatiently…Is it time yet? How about now?
Now?!
NOW!!!!!
5. October 2008 at 12:44 pm :
Maybe you should hibernate until then Gobblinize me. That would make it go by quicker. You would miss Halloween and thanksgiving though…
6. October 2008 at 8:27 am :
No way am I missing out on Halloween. Christmas, Easter and Halloween are my three favorite holidays. They all have one thing in common: candy.
8. October 2008 at 6:02 pm :
Well then, perhaps you should dress up as someone from Labyrinth for Halloween. Get some of that anxiety out…
9. October 2008 at 5:41 am :
I actually did that last year and this year I’m the Mad Hatter. It’s tempting though. Can any Labyrinth fangirl honestly say she doesn’t want Sarah’s dress? The entire ballroom scene has so many beautiful dresses and my hat could easily adapt…
9. October 2008 at 2:53 pm :
I would like to have it, but I can’t really say I’d want to wear it for Halloween. It would be pretty heavy and the weather would be cold (not much coverage…) Plus, people who don’t know the movie will ask if you’re cinderella.
9. October 2008 at 5:20 pm :
I was thinking I’d just gobblinize the Mad Hatter.
Actually, most people would assume you were Giselle from Enchanted. The dress is almost identical in some ways. (Want it…)
10. October 2008 at 3:36 pm :
Hey, who all here has seen Arthur and the Invisibles? The reason I’m bringing it up is because David Bowie plays the villain! I did not recognize his voice until I watched the credits.
14. October 2008 at 2:43 pm :
Gambling for a bag of teeth of all things….
16. October 2008 at 8:51 am :
Please someone tell me this isn’t true:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Return+to+Labyrinth&x=0&y=0
I’ve been checking Amazon constantly to remind myself of the day I can finally buy RtL 3, but Amazon says it’s being released in May now?! (And for some reason is $1 more than usual?!) Barnes & Noble still says a December 12th release date, so I hope it’s a mistake!
16. October 2008 at 10:02 am :
It’s probably just when it will be available on Amazon.com. Either that or their a bunch of freaking aardvarks. (Labyrinth allusion)
16. October 2008 at 2:52 pm :
Oh…my…
How could they…
Why did they…
Hyperventilating here. I preordered mine when said December, does that mean I have to wait even longer? I’m waiting for someone to yell “April Fools”. Someone? Please? Anyone? Before my sanity snaps?
16. October 2008 at 6:05 pm :
APRIL FOOLS! That better? I will agree with you gobblinize me, but I think I can wait a couple more months. After all, I’ve already waited almost an entire year. The wait will make reading the manga all the sweeter. *Swoon*
17. October 2008 at 1:29 am :
According to Barnes&Noble and Borders, the release date for Vol. 3 is December 16, 2008. A month later than originally anticipated (I was so ready for its arrival in November), but it sure beats Amazon’s May 19, 2009 release date.
17. October 2008 at 7:52 am :
Man… I just realized that I’m not allowed to buy anything for myself during December. I’ll have to wait till Jaunuary.
17. October 2008 at 3:57 pm :
Also, with the time I’ve been waiting for the book, I’ve been making predictions about volumes 3 and 4.
1. Volume 4 might end like the King and I (note Jareth’s burnt hand in volume 1 so he might be dying.)
2. Mizumi will hold Sara or Moppet hostage in order to piss off either Jareth and/or Toby.
3. There will be Scub (a given)
4. There will be a war (between what two characters I am still unsure)
5. Something terrible will happen to Spittledrum (still not sure…)
6. Hoggle or someone from the original movie will tell Toby of his sister’s venture 15 years past.
That’s all I’ve got so far…
17. October 2008 at 3:59 pm :
*Skub* misprint
17. October 2008 at 7:54 pm :
Nice theories, Mags.
But OMG, if Jareth dies, I will seriously cry. And I never cry.
21. October 2008 at 4:59 pm :
may…12th…7 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
26. October 2008 at 4:52 pm :
i second Ginger, by the way.
29. November 2008 at 8:55 pm :
If they put it off till next year someone will be getting an ear full from me lol. I have been waiting ever since the last page of the second volume “Hello Sarah…”. I mean come on! We didn’t even get to see her reaction! grrr…. Anyway, so it’s been a year and it’s terrible. You’d think that a manga would take less time than an actual book… maybe it’s the art that takes so long… damn. *sigh* I guess I’ll just have to wait another 18 days and I’m not a patient person so this have been hell for me.
