The Schism Returns

Just to assure everyone that Return to Labyrinth volume 3 is still moving along, how about another look at the Schism from chapter 3– now fully toned! Compare it to the inked version here to get a sense for what a difference screentones make.

Also, if there is anyone else out there who is considering a Komodo Dragon as a pet (as a certain commenter once did), you should probably watch this before you make an errant wish (as, while highly illegal, giving a kid a a Komodo dragon is just the kind of mischievous wish a goblin king would grant!)

To a certain extent villains are sympathetic characters.
For example, a character who suffers racial prejudice during War World II and sees his parents marched off to a prison camp before his very eyes will be emotionally and mentally scarred by the experience. Now fast forward about sixty years or so, said character is seeing what he believes as racial prejudice and threats of extermination. He’s afraid that everything he lived through during World War II will have just been a warm-up compared to what’s coming. So he strikes first, figuring that he can frighten them into leaving his kind alone, but they respond back…violently.

I just re-read Volume 2 last night a noticed that the prophecy said, “When friends are foe, and family lost;” Does that mean Sarah will be lost? Will Jareth have to save her? Also, what the wiseman said, “You do not always get what you want. Sometimes you’ll find that you get…what you need”. It seems to me that if you apply that to Jareth, he seems to be breaking the rules… He’s always granting wishes, yet he’s fulfilling his own wishes now.

    *and noticed*

sarah probably will be lost and Toby will learn what she did for him and save himself and her. It’s the least he could do considering she chose him over jareth and saved him. He will finally control the labyrinth near the end of the series.

Sorry to interrupt people but seriously Sarah wasn’t stupid at all she was just dealing with stuff anybody could relate to. Plus Jareth isn’t all that innocent because was trying to use sarah’s own personal problems against her and ended up losing so he is going to have to suck it up and they will have to find their way to eachother because the only real character who has a right to be angry is toby. I mean look what happened to him as a baby. he is probably going to be mad at both of them. that will be something to see!

    I agree with Amanda
