Jareth is better! Don’t you ever forget about him!!!

  2. Kristi O. says:

Be careful what you say Jake! The walls have ears, heck, some of them even have faces, though don’t hold it against them, they’re just doing their jobs (”Beware, beware…”)

Man though, I have to admit, this guy has awesome hair, though he needs to permanently get rid of that horrible mustache. I’d love to get myself an outfit like his and go wandering around the valleys behind my University, maybe try and find myself a Goblin or two…

  3. Mollie says:

I’m thinking Lord of the Rings/Chronicles of Narnia/Princess Bride inspired? That’s what came to mind while watching this anyway.

He certainly is a very pretty man, just like our Jareth ^_^

  4. Oh dear.

My favorite part was when he opened his shirt and light shot out of his chest like the rose petals in American Beauty.

  5. Cristin says:

For the love of all that is holy. He’s like the Dread Pirate Roberts wants to be Jareth! FAIL Oh but he makes up for it with the ending. Monotype Corsiva in all caps is klassy!

  6. SyldraLady says:

This is like a Sci-Fi channel movie, only with really pretty people.

  7. Maggie says:

What the french toast was that? I’ll admit his hair is pretty sic, but he stil cowers before Jareth on my scales. The girls in this video were really pretty though. And apparently one thing that Chris Dane Owens can do that Jareth can’t is get the girl.
    Haha diss!
runs and hides in bushes when she hears Jareth ferocious battle cry.

  8. Maggie says:

    *Jareth’s

  9. darkfox says:

Hmm, I think David Bowie was much better cutier than this guy. For some reason, this guy gives me the creeps. Long Live King Jareth!

  10. Gobblinize me! says:

AMEN to that, darkfox! Someone compared it to Westley trying to imitate the King of Awesomeness (Jareth), which made me laugh because it was so horribly accurate.
However, in an awful way, it made me think of Toby. I don’t know why but… *shrug*
He DOES have pretty hair. I wonder what shampoo he uses and where I can get some.

  11. Maggie says:

    I’m pretty sure that’s a wig…

  12. Kayla Gee says:

    W….T…..F….

    lols….

Hmmm, I want his hair :)

… But he did kinda scare me a bit…

  13. Kelly Masters says:

That was great … a bit too … un-chiseled Jareth for my tastes, but I could totally see this guy have a chance with some The Early Jareth Chronicles or something. :D

  14. Gobblinize me! says:

The Early Jareth Chronicles? *starts hyperventialating* NOT funny! It would be like a really horrible fanfiction…

  15. Maggie says:

I can’t help but picture Jareth wearing the same get-up as a 16-year-old. Swoons at her visualization of young Jareth.

  16. Gobblinize me! says:

Well, when you put it that way… sighs blissfully while little fangirl heart pitter-patters

  17. Melissa (Adrastia217) says:

i didn’t think he was bad…his song was kinda catchy…i could easily see him dressed as jereth or someone else like that type character…& like some previous comments i agree that he could also pull off a princess bride character…well i like how he’s modern but has a bit of an 80’s flair to him(i miss the 80’s style)…however i don’t think that mustach looked good on him though…it was a bit out of place w/ the nice blonde hair

  18. [...] of you weren’t so impressed with Jareth’s last heir apparent. Maybe he was too blond for you? Too lich-like? Well, perhaps this French confection will better [...]

  19. brian froud outshines you says:

hahahaha, this is so terrible! what a corny video!

  20. LadyMidnight81 says:

WTH? he had pretty hair and eyes, sure, but one question:
Since when is Doctor Doom in the Princess Bride?

  21. Tink says:

    8D preeetty. *nibbling a finger*

*sigh* we seem to have a new music genre emerging – fantasy. A testament to all the geeks and dreamers in the world. Okay, I know I’m going to get flogged for even bringing this up but I was forced to watch a music video of Michael Jackson circa 1990s sometime when he still looked sort of human and possibly even a tad handsome. I can’t remember the tag but sadly I could see what the Henson/Lucas team was thinking when they were considering him to be a candidate. The olde-style psedo-military outfit, the attitude, the scary-sexy thing. He was climbing up the security fence one-handedly and singing into the crowd. Unreal.

Although, granted that vid _is_ a little funny the second time around.
