A Curious Build

Fans of MC Escher and optical illusions (and really, who isn’t?) will get a kick out of these instructions for how to build your own Penrose triangle out of LEGOs. Thanks to LEGO website Klocki for sharing this!

More optical illusion LEGO pics after the jump…Another Penrose Triangle, this one not built of, but being visited by LEGO spacemen:

Ahhh Lego…I would’ve loved to have made something like this, unfortunantly my Father stepped on my stray Lego pieces one too many times, and so I eventually became a Knex person (That, and I’d always make sure to clean up after myself).

And I don’t even have to say it, but the ‘Relativity’ inspired piece is my favorite (“How you turned my world you precious thing…”)

  2. Mandy says:

Hehe. I love the lego Relatively.

  3. Maggie says:

Haha, they should have made a lego Jareth. If they can make Lego Indiana Jones and Harry Potter, I’m sure they can manage a little Labyrinth franchise. Love the instructions though.

  4. A Goblin Babe says:

Though quite impressive, I must admit that the Lego version of Relativity pales in comparison to the one made for Labyrinth, given that the movie version was people-sized and convincingly lit. (Yay Labyrinth!!)
