Introducing Skub’s Riddle Club!

SkubRiddleClub

Hey guys, exciting news! Today in the mail I received a special letter from my good (albeit imaginary) friend Skub. He doesn’t use e-mail, or the post office, and as far as I can tell, he only knows half the alphabet, but he does know a guy with a typewriter, so at long last he got back to me regarding a shared passion of ours. I’ll let him explain the rest himself:

Hello, my name is SKUB and I love to cook! But you know what I like even more? RIDDLES! Riddles are great. They keep your brain warm when you are cold. They are the best. Some people say that goblins are too stupid to make riddles. This is NOT true. Goblins are very clever! In fact, Goblins often make up riddles without even trying. As for solving riddles… it is true. We are dumb.

Oh! But you can help me! Skub will start a Riddle Club where humens who like puzzles can solve riddles goblins make! Mr. Jake says it is okie dokie with him. He will even give prizes sometimes! Anybody can join Skub’s Riddle Club. All you have to do is visit gobblin.net. Skub’s Riddles will stay up for THREE DAYS before Mr. Jake will share the answer. If you use a thinking cap, be careful, cuz sometimes they bite.

Humbly Yurs,

SKUB <– his mark

Thanks, Skub! I couldn’t have said it better myself!

The first Riddle goes up shortly. Comments are closed for three days, after which you can start sharing your guesses. There’s no prize this time (except for glory) but soon I’ll start giving away books or other prizes, at which point you’ll need to e-mail your responses. For now, there is no way to “win” – just have fun! As more riddles pile up, you can use the navigation bar at the right to see them all.

Happy Riddling! And thanks, Skub. You’re a true (albeit imaginary) friend.
