I’d love to know if there was any logic or planning behind that advert besides “David Bowie poses cool while reading a book”.
That said, is he supposed to be kneeling on an invisible step, or is he in mid-leap?
Then again, it has been shown that David Bowie can defy gravity, so maybe that’s what’s going on here

What’s the book David’s reading? It’s too small to see. Although I think that’s genuine interest: in the liner notes for the iSelectBowie he says he’s trying to think of one unused english word for each entry. Hopefully, there will be a quiz!

It’s obvious what she’s reading! It’s the latest copy of S#xy Pixie! Where else could she get those fab outfits?
That’s a good theory, GM, but even if it was said catalog, all postal services are shut down due to recent turmoils in the Labyrinth. She could use a new costume though… Chris hasn’t started the last chapter, maybe it’s not too late to see about that!
I did notice she’s the only character who doesn’t have multiple outfits. (Unless you count her community service clothes, but I don’t.)
Maybe clothing that size is hard to come by in the Goblin Kingdom?

Hana’s obviously reading Jake’s script for the last volume, even she can’t wait the 7 months for the release date (And besides, she needs to figure out what the heck she’s up to in the last volume, as well as make any “necessary” changes as she sees fit).

I think it’s the original Labyrinth story / play Sarah was reading at the start of the original film.
Okay I’m still new to manga, but did anyone else notice that on the second panel there are two of Hannah? Is that to show action or are there really two Hannahs and? They also have two different faces….

It’s not a manga thing, but in the comics medium, sometimes you can express movement or cause-and-effect relationships in one panel for the sake of efficiency. In this case, the intention is to show that Hana is flipping through the pages and not just reading one passage, which will hopefully come together when the dialog and context is all there.
